We heard that there was a rodeo in town and we are always up for some good clean fun so we spent Saturday night at the Bold Enough Challenge Rodeo in Gallatin, Tennessee. We had such a good time, so I thought I would share some of the photos with you.

The Bold Enough Challenge lasted for two nights from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm each night.

I noticed that there was even a cowboy in the clouds watching over the proceedings. I thought that was pretty neat. Do you see it?

This rodeo gets bigger every year it seems and draws people not just from Tennessee but all over the South East.

These talented riders put on a great show for us and everyone seemed to have a really great time.

This is an IRPA-sanctioned rodeo and it featured trick riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, calf roping, and other activities.

Out of the gate, he goes but is thrown off balance by the bucking bronc.  Will he make the 8 seconds or be unseated by this beautiful horse?

This bronc is quite determined to be free of the cowboy who won’t take no for an answer and holds on for dear life.

Another cowboy tries his skill against a bronc as it takes off like a rocket from the chute.  Will he hang on and make his 8 seconds?

This horse is bound and determined to get this guy off of his back.  I can’t help but think of the Brian Adams song from “Spirit Wild Stallion” (the Disney movie) as I watch him fight to keep his seat.

Can you imagine it?

The calf roping event was really exciting too and there were so many talented people represented there. We really enjoyed the entire evening.

The horses are so beautiful! I have wanted a horse since I was a little girl of 3 and the neighbors behind us had two that we adored.
