This apple snickerdoodle pie is one of my all-time favorite recipes, it’s a huge hit at events and pot lucks and so easy to make.  Apple pie is already the best in my book- but throw in snickerdoodle cookie dough? Out. Of. This. World. Seriously it’s amazing!

How To Make An Apple Snickerdoodle Pie

Why Do They Call It Snickerdoodle?

Snickerdoodle, also known as snipdoodles or simply cinnamon sugar cookies have been delighting people since the late 1800s. These New England favorites can probably trace their origins back to Germany.

What Does Snickerdoodle Taste Like?

Just like the snickerdoodle cookie, this delicious snickerdoodle pie tastes like cinnamon and sugar – the perfect tastes of fall – over a delicious apple pie

Can I Make This Recipe Sugar Free?

We have not tried it but if you were to use a product like SWERVE that is a natural sugar substitute in your recipe at a 1.1 ratio it should work.

Can I Make This Recipe Gluten-Free?

We have not tried this but Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour is a measure for measure replacement for regular flour. In other words, it is a 1.1 ratio replacement.
