Eggs In A Basket

Posted on January 30, 2018September 4, 2020 by Rosevine Cottage Girls
Spread the love
I first learned of eggs in a basket going to after church lunch with a bunch of friends. One man ordered them and I thought it was a pretty cute dish. I ended up bringing this back to mind when I was looking for something to serve my family for Valentine’s morning breakfast. I remembered eggs in a basket and when looking for a round cutter I thought of looking for a heart shaped cookie cutter instead of something round. This is how it turned out.  Basket Of Love Breakfast Sampler! I read that normally they throw away the little piece of removed bread but I decided to make it into little French toast hearts and cut the ham in hearts as well. I also found out that it is also called Toad in a hole and egg in a hole. What ever you call it this breakfast is sure to please.
