This roast is so delicious and sooo easy to make! It’s definitely a crowd pleaser, and you are going to love it. It’s perfect for your Christmas meal or any other, tender, juicy, and oh so good- have I said that before? But seriously this is a wonderful way to make a roast!
3 # Chuck Roast
1 container of beef or chicken broth
Sprinkle roast with flour salt and pepper, place oil in a pan and heat over medium heat, brown meat on both sides and then re-season with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder. Place in a roaster pan or dutch oven. Roughly chop potatoes and carrots and sprinkle around the roast. Pour in enough broth to go up to the halfway point on your roast. Bake at 250 for 3 hours or until done to the way you like it. We like to slice with an electric knife to make the roast pretty but dig in and eat. This roast is so tender and juicy!
