Dill Bread

Dill Bread Recipe

Dill bread is a deliciously moist bread that can be baked in a loaf pan or like this one in an oven-proof bowl.  We were introduced to it by a friend of ours and she asked us to try it out. We did and what we found we really loved. Dill bread makes a wonderful sliced sandwich loaf or like this one to serve with your meal in wedges. We really enjoyed this bread. It is not overpowered by dill and the cottage cheese makes it really moist and delicious.  I used a glass bowl to bake the bread in to serve with dinner. I thought it rose well and the texture was really nice. I think it would make nice buns too, say for a hamburger bun. I will have to try that! I love the ease of being able to prepare this in my breadmaker and then being able to just let it bake there or to set it on the dough setting and bake it in the pan of your choice.
