Easy Creamy Spinach Gratin Recipe

Homemade Spinach Gratin is a favorite at Rosevine Cottage, creamy delicious goodness that is so easy to make and the perfect side for any kind meal! We made this last fall for the first time and instantly fell in love with the delicate flavor that mingles together so well in this dish.

What You Need To Make Spinach Gratin:

  • Small Sauce Pan
  • Spoon
  • Grater
  • Small Casserole Dish
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons

Spinach Gratin Recipe:

Ingredients:

4 Cups of Fresh Spinach destemmed

1 cup Swiss Cheese grated

1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated

1 cup Cheddar Cheese grated

1 Cup Milk

2 Tablespoons Butter

1/4 cup Unbleached White Flour

1 Teaspoon Salt

1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Pepper to taste

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

Destem spinach.

Melt butter in a saucepan once melted add flour and then milk. Stir over medium heat until the sauce is thick and bubbly.

Add swiss and parmesan cheese and stir until combined.

Stir in spinach until all the spinach is coated in the sauce.

Pour into a casserole dish and top with cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes or until spinach is tender and cheese has melted.
