Homemade egg waffles are one of our favorite family treats here at the Cottage. They are so easy to make and a crowd-pleaser when we have guests. You can make so many variations of this either sweet or savory and it’s so fun to mix and match these.
Also known as egg puff, bubble waffle, eggette, pancake balls, pancake waffle, egglet, and puffle is one of our favorite breakfast treats! It hails from Hong Kong where it is known by Cantonese name, gai daan jai. It is served as street food. It is super easy to make but it is sure to impress the most important guests.
