In the center of the table, we placed a beautiful vintage valentine made by my great aunt when she was a little girl for her mother. On either side of that, we put 3 cloches with heart cut-outs, old letters, and mercury glass ornaments leftover from Christmas. To one end of the table, we placed a vintage silver coffee pot and cream and sugar bowl. On the other end, we set an old vintage camera Mr. Cottage brought back from Germany. We placed silver candlesticks here and there and added some sparkly red hearts around the table for a touch of glitter.
Gorgeous Valentine’s Day Tablescape
I am so behind on our decorating (we still have pieces of Christmas decor up here and there), so we thought we would share this vintage Valentine’s Day tablescape we did last year. I love how this table came out, it’s so sweet with gorgeous vintage pieces.
We used touches of sparkle, vintage letters, silver candlesticks, white linens, and China plates to create a sweet romantic feel without making it to cliche.
What says romantic to you? For us, it’s this Valentine’s Day tablescape, filled with memories, sparkly pieces to catch the light and love.
Very lovely. Thank You for sharing.
Happy St.Valentine's Day
