Appetizers may sound hard to make but they are usually really easy to make and served to your guests. We are going to share 2 of our favorite Christmas appetizers that are healthy and adorable for your holiday parties this year.
What Is The Difference Between A Hors d’oeuvres And And Appetizer?
The timing, Christmas appetizers are served just before the meal and are usually chosen to complement the meal you’ll be enjoying. While an Hors d’oeuvres are served before the meal and are not considered to be part of the meal.
Grinch Hat Christmas Appetizers
This Christmas appetizer is so easy to make and really fun to serve and the best part? It’s healthy!
Supplies & Ingredients:
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Tooth Picks
- Green Grapes
- Banana
- Strawberries
Assembling Grinch Hats
Using a sharp knife cut round slices of banana and small triangles or squares.
Wash the grapes and strawberries.
Cut the end off the strawberries, removing the leaf and leaving a flat surface.
Slide a small piece of banana on one end of the toothpick, follow that with a strawberry, and then a round slice of banana. Once you’ve assembled your Santa hat, slide the end into the grape and plate.
Santa Hat Christmas Appetizers
This is another really great Christmas appetizer that everyone will love! With two simple ingredients, you can create these really fun Christmas appetizers.
Supplies & Ingredients:
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Tooth Picks
- Banana
- Strawberries
Assembling Santa Hats
Wash the strawberries.
Peel and slice the bananas into wide rounds.
Cut a few small triangles or squares out of the banana.
Cut the ends off the strawberries removing the leaf.
Slide the small piece of banana onto the end of the toothpick, follow it with the strawberries, and then a round of banana.
Plate and serve.
