We were working on decorating our little girls’ room and wanted something really magical and to look like something out of a fairy tale. We decided to try to figure out how to make angel wings to hang on the wall. They were a simple and fun project that we did as a family and it turned out so pretty. We ended up making a second pair of angel wings because they came out so well.

How To Make Angel Wings
What You Will Need:

Cutting Out Card Board – Making Angel Wings
These are super easy but slightly time-consuming, it goes a lot faster with a helper. Cut out the desired wing shape from the cardboard. This will depend on if you want to have them huge or just a small set. We wanted ours really big to put over an antique vanity that is in the room. We ended up using the box that came from our water heater and it worked perfectly. It was not flimsy like a poster board would be and really held its shape well.

Cutting Out Feathers To Make Angel Wings
Lay it in front of you and begin cutting feather shapes out of the paper plates. You can freestyle the shape or use a pencil to draw them in. Get the family to help out. It will take a bunch of feathers if you make really big ones as we did. Wrinkle them up a bit, you don’t want them to look like you glued to paper plates to a piece of cardboard.
Glue each feather in the desired spot feel free to do different shaped feathers remember no feather is alike.
You can even go back later if you decide you want to cut them a little more.
