This chocolate syrup recipe is so easy and tastes great! We originally made it for our Smore Mocha Frappuccino drink but discovered this chocolate syrup tastes great in/on coffee, drizzled lightly over ice cream or just to top a delicious drink. This is perfect whether it’s hot or cold.

1 Cup Organic Cocoa
1 Cup Raw Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla (try our recipe)
1/4 Teaspoon Himalayan Salt
1 Cup Water

Directions:

Heat the water and chocolate together in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.  Add sugar and continue heating. Stir continually. Let boil for 8-10 minutes to thicken. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overflow. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Allow it to cool before pouring it into an airtight container.

Refrigerate.

We keep in a squeezable container so you can just squeeze into your coffee or use it to drizzle over your whipped cream for a special treat.
