Italian is one of our absolute favorite foods here at Rosevine Cottage, and this Manicotti recipe just so happens to be one of our favorites. Delicious sauce, yummy cheese- what’s not to love about this manicotti recipe? This recipe is so easy to make and sure to be a people pleaser.

Ingredients: 

1 box of 8 oz manicotti Pasta
Pasta sauce recipe
32 ounces of Ricotta Cheese
2 cups of Parmesan Cheese
2 eggs
Parsley 1 tbsp
onion powder
garlic powder
salt
pepper
 
 
Directions:
 
Preheat oven to 400

In a saucepot start your Italian sauce and let it simmer.

In another saucepan boil water. Add oil and some salt to your pan. Place the pasta in your pan when it boils and cook for 8 min or according to package directions.

In a bowl scoop your ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and your seasonings

Stir well and taste for flavor (add more seasonings until it tastes good)

Crack your two eggs into the cheese mixture and stir.

Drain your pasta and set aside to cool.

When they are cool take a spoon and start to fill the pasta sleeves with your cheese mixture.

In the bottom of your casserole dish, 9×13 pour a bit of sauce to cover the bottom.

Place your manicotti down the center of the pan and spoon a bit of sauce over the center all the way down.

Cover and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
