Chicken Fajitas on a white platter with wedges of lemons and lime by rosevinecottagegirls.com

Chicken Fajitas Recipe

These chicken fajitas were made after we moved away from my favorite California eatery Mario’s. Mario’s was a staple in my childhood and their food made a mark on my youth so when I moved away I had to learn to recreate this delicious food. This is my attempt to bring my family Mario’s Chicken Fajitas and we thought that we would share this recipe with our friends.

1 Tomato
3 Tablespoons Lime
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

3 Chicken Breasts
3/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Cook the chicken breasts until white on the outside then flip and repeat on the other side.

Once chicken breasts have been cooked on both sides remove from pan and slice into chunks or strips.

Continue cooking the peppers and onions until they are soft and can be cut with a spoon. Toss the chicken back into the pan to finish cooking.

Toss in tomatoes and finish cooking. Serve hot.
