Summer is coming to an end and we are already dreaming of pumpkins, pears, and corn stalks! We were looking for simple fall decor for this new season. Of course, we couldn’t transition into fall without decorating with pears- after all, we have tons of them. We created this simple fall tablescape out of fresh pears, it’s the perfect transition decor to ease out of summer and into fall.
Natural Elements In Your Simple Fall Decor
Bringing natural elements into our decor is one of our favorite ways to decorate, and fall is no exception. All of our pear trees are loaded in fruit which means we are up to our eyeballs in baskets of fruit. So it’s little surprise they ended up in our decor this year.
Simple Fall Decor – Reflection Of The Season
Fall for us is a change of pace, the garden is winding down, the trees have all reached the end of the season, which means there isn’t as much work to be done. It’s simpler days, filled with warmth and colors- and lots of humidity. We wanted to create a simple fall tablescape that reflected these days, with warm hues and natural tones.
Pears and tarnished silver fit the bill for the look we were trying to create for this simple fall tablescape.
Using Antiques For A Simple Fall Decor
For this simple fall centerpiece, we used a creamy burlap table runner, on top of that we placed a collection of tarnished silver. In the center, we used a coffee pot filled with dried hydrangeas
from the yard. On one side of that, we place an antique sugar bowl on the other side we placed a creamer. To either side of that, we sat tarnished silver candlesticks with white taper candles
.
For our place settings, we used creamy lace placemats and distressed white chargers, and bone china plates. We folded the napkin in a simple rectangle and placed it on the plate beneath a pear.

Around the edges of the tablescape, we placed fresh pears to add that natural feel and give this simple fall tablescape those gorgeous fall hues.
