Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner so we thought we’d share one of our favorite Irish recipes with you today. These Irish Blaa Buns are absolutely delicious! I have to banish people from the kitchen while I am trying to cook so no one swipes them while my back is turned. The best…
We made this beignet recipe for the first time a few months back and fell hopelessly in love! They’re the most amazing thing we’d ever tasted, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This bread is pure blueberry cream cheese delight! Super easy to make and need I say it tastes amazing! This is actually an adaption of our Cranberry Cream Cheese bread, but Brianna wanted to try it with blueberries this time.
We wiped up this yummy cranberry cream cheese bread last night after we got in from flocking our Christmas tree and Christmas shopping. This recipe is sooooo good and really easy to make. It’s not too sweet, with tart juicy cranberries. It’s perfect for all your Christmas get-togethers!
There is nothing like the smell of baking bread when you come in the door. It will ever remind me of home, and cozy days at the Cottage. This recipe is delicious, easy to make and perfect to go with a good pot of soup (or just some butter).
Bread is a favorite here at the Cottage, there is nothing like stepping inside the house and being greeted by the scent of baking bread. This recipe is super easy, and tastes amazing! We like to use our cast iron pan for this but you can use a casserole dish.
We aren’t huge zucchini eaters, actually, Mr. Cottage is the only one that really likes it. So every year we grow it just for him, this year we decided to plant golden zucchini instead of our normal kind. All too soon zucchini season found us and we had baskets of this bright golden colored veg. Mom decided to try her hand at zucchini bread, I have to say I was a little apprehensive to try it. I really don’t like zucchini, but we have a rule in our house you have to try everything. So expecting to hate it I took a really really small bite- to my surprise it was amazing! Moist, sweet but not over the top. It almost reminds me of the pumpkin bread we make every year.
These rolls are so amazing! Soft and golden, with a hint of rosemary. They are delicious with butter or loaded with meat and cheese. You really can’t go wrong with them! They will be the perfect touch to any meal and perfect for your Thanksgiving family gatherings.
