Teriyaki Chicken Pineapple Bowls

These are delicious pineapple bowls that are perfect for the end of summer festivities! Loaded with amazing flavors tender teriyaki chicken and sweet pineapple and it is so easy to make.

Teriyaki Chicken Pineapple Bowls

Ingredients:

2 Cups Shredded Chicken
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Cup Water
5 Teaspoons Raw Sugar
1 Tablespoon Raw Honey
1/4 Cup Fish Sauce
2 Tablespoons Arrow Root Powder
1/4 Cup Cold Water
 

Directions:

Combine 1 cup water, fish sauce, sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook about 1 minute. Meanwhile, mix arrowroot and cold water together in a cup; stir until dissolved. Add to the saucepan, cook 5-7 minutes stirring frequently until thickened. Pour over shredded chicken.

Rice

Ingredients:

 
Oil
1 Cup Rice
2 Cup Broth or Water

Directions:

 
Put oil in the bottom of a pan, brown rice in oil until golden add liquid and cook for 25 minutes.

Veggies:

 
Cook frozen mixed vegetables in boiling water until done, drain, and season.
 

To Make Pineapple Bowls:

Slice pineapple in half and hollow out. Place rice in one third, veggies (add a touch of butter) in another, and chicken in another.
