Spicy Pinto Beans Recipe

  • Stock Pot

  • Dry Pinto Beans
  • Water
  • 2-3 Jalapenos
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • Onion Flakes To taste



  • Rinse dry beans in a colander.
  • Soak beans in a large pan overnight, or quick-soak them by boiling them for 2 minutes then turn off the heat, cover and let sit for 1-4 hours.
  • Strain the liquid off of the beans, then return them to the pan. Fill the pan with water to cover the beans.
  • Cook the beans on medium-high heat, until tender.
  • Season to taste and add jalapenos until the beans have reached your desired heat.
