Even when everyone else has forgotten you, moved on, and left you in the dust He will never forget you. He will scoop you up out of the dust and say you are mine.
YOU. ARE. MINE.
You don’t belong to them, you aren’t theirs to trample- you are mine. My handiwork. My precious creation. Handmade, molded, beautiful. You are my treasure, my work of art. You are my uncut diamond. Where others may skip over I see potential. I see amazing beauty.
What others -or even you- call worthless, unlovable, and a mistake God decided was so costly He sent His son to die for you. The same God that paints the heavens in a dazzling display each night, that placed the stars in the sky and planets in the perfect orbit, formed the barriers of the ocean so they can come no further, and pulled the highest mountains from a single word, calls you His.
Even Joseph spent time in a dungeon. Even Joseph was abandoned, trampled on and neglected. Forgotten by his fellow man, but not His heavenly father. Even Jesus was turned on by a friend. He knows your the pain of rejection.
Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight?
If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there!
If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute—
you’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark!
At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you;
night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you. Psalms 139:8-10 MSG
